closing the gap between you and You.

Change is difficult, and the longer we remain in one place, the more challenging it becomes to move.

My coaching journey began informally many years ago. Through various interactions and experiences, I practiced listening to myself and those closest to me. Two years ago, I decided to pursue formal education to solidify and validate what I had been doing throughout my life.

What seemed like an insurmountable step turned out to be transformative. However, like any change, it won't last unless we commit to it. I completed my education, practiced a bit, explored different things — and then, paralysis set in. Probably because time undermines all deals, and the period from finishing my education to launching felt endless.

There was a lesson in that for me, a recurring theme. I noticed that stretch of time affecting most of my ambitious endeavors — stifling change and keeping everything the same. Sound familiar? Buying a course, attending a workshop, event, session, acquiring a new outfit, shoes, trying this or that, getting a gym membership, going on a yoga retreat, taking a painting class... and then, nothing. Perhaps it wasn't completed, or maybe it was, but reverting to familiar habits was e a s i e r.

We often seek external solutions to feel better and improve our lives. We spend countless hours following, subscribing, unsubscribing, scrolling — absorbing external content in an attempt to motivate or connect with the person we believe we are at our core. Meanwhile, true action escapes us. The courses and content accumulate on our hard drives, online accounts, bookshelves, adding to the burden of "what could have been" or, worse, another failed attempt.

It's time to focus inward to create outward change. To live the life you desire. To consistently take small steps and make small choices until the person you are is fully aligned with the person you aspire to be.
